Lauryl Glucoside: an effective and skin-friendly natural cleanser

What is Lauryl Glucoside?

Lauryl Glucoside (110615-47-9) is a non-ionic surfactant of plant origin. It belongs to a generation of surfactants called Alkyl polyglucosides (APGs), whose raw materials are glucose and fatty alcohol (C12/C14).

Like other APGs, it is gentle, biodegradable and environmentally friendly, it stands out from other APGs because it produces little foam but allows for thickening of solutions.

It integrates easily into various formulations thanks to its good compatibility with other surfactants and natural polymers.

It is widely used in natural and organic cosmetics and in the detergent industry, offering a safe alternative to harsh synthetic surfactants. Its gentleness and versatility make it an ideal choice for mild cosmetic and household products.
